Having a lot of late night online activity with my Wii is this normal?
It seems that there is a lot of online activity at night with the Wii…is this a normal thing? Or should I be worried that someone is connecting to it? I know during the night is when they do all the updates etc, however, like I said…that blue light is on ALL the time. If It is something I need to be worried do I call Wii support? Or just not worry about it?
You either have an update downloading or a new message in your inbox. If neither exists, your Wii is bugging out. Try to manually update from the settings menu. If it still comes on every night, and you don’t have error messages, you can call Nintendo about it or disable WiiConnect 24, which connects to the internet while your Wii is “off” (it’s safe, keeps the Wii a little warm, and uses less power than many night lights- 10w). Note that the power light will be red when the Wii is off instead of yellow if you do so- this is normal.
